We are at Lakeside, Summerleaze Road, Maidenhead. The area of the lake is about 51 acres. Organised racing takes place at least once a week on a Sunday throughout the year with futher racing on Thursday Evenings during the summer.. The only thing that stops this is if the lake is iced over. There are two full day sailing events held every year where club members compete for special trophies, plus fun events like a marathon team race. For club events such as Prizegiving, we use external caterers. For other occasions, there is a kitchen in the clubhouse and a barbecue with picnic tables outside.
In additional we allow other human powered craft on the water including SUP's, Kayaks canoes etc. They have their own program for weekends and during the week.
There is a strong youth and junior section which includes tuition, coaching and fun racing.
For the non racers during the summer there is supervised sailing on Saturdays.
Each year we open our doors to the general public for a day and provide opportunities for people to experience sailing. There is usually some advance publicity of the open day in the form of local newspaper and posters placed around the Maidenhead area.
